Swimming Ability/Stage

Beginners - Ideal for those who have never had swimming lessons before or are still quite nervous in the water, possibly requiring armbands or significant support Stage 1 - Confident in water but not able to swim unaided yet Stage 2 - Confident in water and able to swim 5 - 10 metres unaided Stage 3 - Able to do the front crawl, backstroke, breast stroke and dolphin (Also able to swim 10 - 20 metres unaided) Stage 4 + - Able to proficiently swim the front crawl, backstroke, breast stroke and dolphin (Also able to swim 25 metres +)
